Johnson’s Locust Hall Farm is a great place to have an intimate wedding in a rustic setting. I had photographed an engagement session there, but this was my first wedding. Susan and Tom had a fun and relaxed celebration with close family and friends. After a lovely ceremony outside, we headed into the barn to avoid the rain and enjoy lovely appetizers from Toscano Ristorante. Once the rain passed the grounds opened up for croquet, Jenga, cornhole, and other games. Once evening came it was time for gathering around the fire pit and making s’mores.
Susan works in international imports, and Tom works as a welder fabricator and supervisor. When asked what each love most about the other, Susan answered “Tom brings out the best in me. He is my best friend.” Tom says “She is very genuine. She is who she is and doesn’t put on a show.” They love each other’s company whether they are grocery shopping, antiquing, taking a rice on the motorcycle, or just cooking dinner together.
