MaryKate and Ryan had a fantastic wedding celebration. We started out at Woodcrest Country Club where MaryKate and the ladies were taking advantage of the country club’s new salon area downstairs. Woodcrest has really stepped things up lately, and I know there are even more improvements on the way. They’re certainly a venue I recommend if you’re looking for a place to get married in the Cherry Hill, NJ area.
MaryKate is a Special Education teacher in Moorestown, NJ. Ryan works in sales. He proposed on Super Bowl Sunday in 2018. We had a really fun engagement session last year on the beach. MaryKate’s daughter McKenna does one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen a three year old do. She doesn’t like it when Ryan is affectionate with her mommy and she gets really jealous. I actually have a photograph of her hitting Ryan for giving MaryKate a kiss.
MaryKate loves Ryan’s patience, sense of humor, and kind heart. Ryan loves MaryKate’s sense of humor, organization, and free spirit. They are constantly making each other laugh, and they don’t take life too seriously. This translates really well into managing wedding day stress. Teachers are usually good at both wedding planning and not being too anxious during a wedding day, and MaryKate was no exception.
Once everyone was ready, we headed over to Christ Our Light church for a lovely ceremony. Family and friends surrounded our happy couple as they exchanged vows at the altar.
After the ceremony, we headed back to Woodcrest Country Club and took advantage of the lovely weather (cool and overcast – perfect!). The wedding party, which included MaryKate’s brother Scott (whose wedding I photographed a few years ago), walked out to the long tree-lined drive leading up to the club. My team member Cat and I took some photographs of the wedding party, then we released the wild bunch into cocktail hour. MaryKate, Ryan and I took a golf cart to the back of the country club. There is a beautiful stone bridge back there that makes for some picturesque scenery.
After the portraits, it was time to party, and this bunch was definitely ready to blow off some steam. Even grandma got out there on the dance floor. Mazz Entertainment had the ballroom rocking, and provided photo booth service as well. Our good friend Tom with Alliance Video helped cover MaryKate and Ryan’s wedding with excellent cinematography. We had an amazing time, and I am so happy we got to see so many familiar faces from past weddings. Congratulations MaryKate and Ryan, on a stellar and unforgettable wedding day celebration!
