Wedding Photography at Lucien’s Manor is always a joy, because they do such an amazing job providing an excellent experience for their couples. Guests are treated to beautiful scenery, excellent food, and top notch service. I love photographing weddings there, and their new chapel is absolutely stunning. They have certainly taken things to the next level, and that’s saying something.
About Our Couple
Leanne and Matt love each other’s compassion. She works at Prudential, and he is a scientist at GlaxoSmithKline. She loves his love and compassion not only for himself but for others. He loves her unconditional love for him and others around her. Obviously, this is a couple full of love not only for each other, but for others, and it showed in every interaction they had with their beloved friends and family.
An Irish Wedding on St. Patrick’s Day Weekend!
When two people whose last names both start with “Mc” get together, you know it’s going to be a party. When that wedding takes place on St. Patrick’s Day Weekend? Well, let’s just say the details tended to lean toward the green end of things. From the shamrock “Kiss Me” at their shamrock-shaped guest signed wood blocks, to the hidden shamrocks under one plate at each table (to win the centerpiece), to the kelly green beer koozies that read “Lucky in Love”, this was a seriously Irish wedding.
Leanne’s dress is from Bridal Garden, who for very good reason, is one of my recommended vendors. Her flowers came from yet another one of my highly recommended vendors, Leigh Florist, who actually surprised me with my own box of flower pieces to use for detail shots! Leanne looked beautiful in her gown, with hair by Family Fashions Hair Salon and her makeup done by MAC (Makeup by Christine).
They chose not to see each other until the ceremony, so I took portraits of Leanne and her posse while my team member Cat took photos of Matthew and his posse. Friends and family were ushered in to Lucien’s brand new chapel by the very talented (and immediately added to the recommended vendor list) Thom Moore, otherwise known as The Happy Bagpiper. They were married in a beautiful ceremony by the (aptly red-headed) officiant Andrew Lyle.
After the ceremony, we took some portraits around the grounds, and Cuddles even made an appearance (see the gallery). Then it was party time, and our esteemed colleague and recommended vendor DJs Available took great care to make sure everyone was having a great time and dancing all night long. It was a beautiful evening with wonderful people, and I am so very honored to have been a small part of it all. Congratulations, Leanne and Matthew!
