Kylie and Art had a beautiful wedding at the always gorgeous Smithville Inn in Historic Smithville, NJ. The early, chilly March air didn’t deter anyone from having a wonderful time. I love it when fellow Disney nerds get married, because I always look forward to seeing how they will incorporate their love for all things Disney into their wedding. Kylie and Art had a clever seating arrangement. Instead of table numbers, guests were assigned to a variety of tables based on rides at the Magic Kingdom. Each guest received a “ride ticket” which led them to their ride (table). There were lots of tables such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Astro Orbiter, Space Mountain, Philharmagic, and many more.
I’ll give you three guesses where they went on their honeymoon, but I am pretty sure you only need one.
Getting Ready, Getting Married
Kylie and Art both got ready on site, in different parts of the property. Kylie’s dress hangar was Disney-themed, of course, as was Art’s “Up” boutonniere. Kylie’s makeup artist was Samantha Mirsch, and the ladies’ hair was by Sublime Hair Boutique.
They sealed their commitment with vows and a kiss in a lovely ceremony led by their friend Matt, indoors at the Inn. Guests went downstairs to cocktail hour while we took family photographs in front of the trellis outside. The wedding party headed over to the carousel for a few extra shots, then we sent them away and took some portraits with just Kylie and Art.
DJ Crazy Trane was on hand to help everyone have a wonderful time dancing the night away. Rachel Kurzynowski provided videography services.
I’m so very happy Kylie and Art found me through The Knot, and I am so very grateful for the lovely review they wrote for me. I had a wonderful time celebrating with them and meeting their family and friends. Congratulations, and have a wonderful Disneymoon!
