Wedding photography at Brigalia’s is a photographer’s dream. There is so much visual stimulation that it borders on eye candy. And, the staff at Brigalia’s does an amazing job of making the couple and their guests feel special. Gina and Bob set up a meeting knowing that I was booked for their date, but that I have excellent team members who would take care of them. Of course, Nicole and Chris were their usual awesome selves.
I had a great time meeting with Gina and Bob and really like them personally. We’ve actually hung out a few times since that meeting, even though I was not going to be the one to photograph their wedding day for them. I mean, they are fellow Disney nerds. They honeymooned in Disney, just like Suzanne and I did. Gina is a soccer player like I was. Bob is into Marvel Comics like I was/am. How much more could we possibly have in common? So, of course I love knowing them.
This particular wedding day was full of strange coincidences. Both of my brides that day are named Gina. The church that these two Ginas chose to get married in are the same two churches where I photographed the two weddings of siblings just a few years ago. And, Gina and Bob did the exact same combination as the sister sibling: Church of the Holy Family followed by a reception at Brigalia’s.
As a known fellow Disney nerd, it was incumbent upon me to throw in a few Hidden Mickeys into their photos. Some of them are quite obvious, though others not so much. See if you can spot them…
