Our Studio Philosphy

It's about more than just skill with a camera

We take care of you and your story.

We love telling the story of a couple's wedding. Every loving couple should have their love story told. We love being of service in every way we can throughout the wedding planning and wedding day journey. We go above and beyond merely taking photographs. We take care of the little things that no one thought of. We take care of the people around you.

We take care of our couples.

I believe in providing the best customer service experience to my couples. Period. Walt Disney is an inspiration to me and how I approach everything I do. He believed in plussing: going above and beyond what is expected. I bring a similar to approach to everything I do, which means doing much more than creating unforgettable images of your wedding day. I take care of my couples as well as their family and friends, so that their wedding day experience is the best it can possibly be.

I have been awarded Best of Weddings in The Knot in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, as well as WeddingWire’s Couples’ Choice Award 2012, 2015, 2016,2017, and 2018. In 2014 my studio was inducted into The Knot’s “Best of Weddings Hall of Fame.” These are all awards based on reviews our couples have written over the years.

When it comes to other events such as Mitzvahs, we love telling the story of one of the most important events in the life of a young person. We love capturing that moment in time as they leave their childhood behind and celebrate the occasion with their beloved family and friends.

We love following our couples into the next phases of their lives together, whether it be raising a family, or embarking on other exciting adventures. We love being their LifeStory photographers!

We take excellent care of our corporate clients, our running race organizers, our performing arts organizations, and much more.

We just love being of service, and believe that good customer service should not be a thing of the past.

"Act Naturally" is an oxymoron.

When people are asked to stop being themselves and pose, to do things which might feel awkward, that awkward feeling shows in the photographs. You can tell it's fake, and the people being photographed might even look miserable.

We believe in a more organic approach. Instead of giving people specific motions or poses, we'll suggest movements or interactions that will provide a more natural feel and flow. The vast majority of our photographs are not staged. They are real. Even posed "formal" shots are made fun and easy.

The joy, the laughter, the romance, the love, the celebration, the ceremony, the interactions, and the cherished moments that we capture are not staged. We tell the real story of your wedding celebration, Mitzvah, or other event in images that will last forever. We tell the stories of the funny things that happened and the laughter that was shared. We tell the stories of the intimate moments of a newly married couple, and the celebration of their love by family and friends. I tell the whole story of your day, so that years later you can bring yourself right back to the joy and love of that amazing celebration.
