Alexandria (Alex) and Kyle joined me for some early evening engagement photographs in the always exciting city of Philadelphia. They’ll be getting married at the Warwick Hotel in October. They live in Washington D.C. but have family in the Philly area so they’re planning from long distance. Alex and Kyle met in the basement of a party being held by some close friends of theirs. They got engaged in Key West. Alexandria is both a fellow Disney nerd and a fellow runDisney long distance runner. We have both run one or more of their half marathons this year already!
I met them at the back of the Philadelphia Museum of Art (which doesn’t require a permit) and took some beautiful photographs there. We made the journey throughout the pathways and up to the iron gazebo, then came back down to the front of the building to grab a couple of quick shots from the bottom of those famous steps. Then it was off to the AMOR statue in Logan Square, taking a few quick shots along the way to try and capture City Hall in the background. It was a fun evening and we had a good time. We even got in a few thousand steps for my step counter in the process. I’m looking forward to sharing their wedding day celebration with them in October!
