After sharing a really fun engagement session with Pinky and Dave, I eagerly awaited getting to share their wedding day with them at the incomparable Park Chateau in East Brunswick. Having a winter wedding is always a bit of a risk, because winter weather can throw a wrench in all of your plans. They couldn’t have asked for a nicer day. No one was even wearing a coat, despite it being late December. The sky was blue, there was barely any breeze, and everyone was in a fantastic and festive mood.
Everyone got ready at Park Chateau, since there is more than enough room to provide both sides with their own dressing areas. Once the bride and groom had finished getting ready and exchanged gifts, it was time for their first look, followed by wedding party and the couple’s portraits.
Night began to fall before the ceremony began, which of course was why we did first look and pictures before the ceremony. The ceremony was in the lovely on-site chapel boasting beautiful woodwork framing. They exchanged vows and there was just the right mixture of tears and laughter, as friends and family celebrated the eagerly-awaited joining of these two families.
I have photographed hundreds of weddings over the past 12 years, and few venues have excelled at providing as amazing an experience as Park Chateau did for Pinky and Dave’s wedding. The level of attentiveness of their staff was second to none, and I know how much effort goes into maintaining that type of customer service standard. I am immediately placing them at the top of my recommended venues list, for anyone getting married in central New Jersey. The cocktail hour food presentation is of the highest level, bordering on art that you (almost) don’t want to eat.
It was an amazing celebration, with a spectacular and fun wedding entourage. I am so very happy for Pinky and Dave and their families, and I am so honored to have been able to capture their wedding. Congratulations!
